Awesome Dessert, by accident..lol

Hello all I was craving something sweet tonight so I went in the freezer and was going to have some Breyers Carb Smart Mint Ice Cream (made with splenda). I usually blend it with a little skim milk to make it like a thick shake. My mind was elsewhere and I accidently put some Carb Countdown Chocolate Milk in it. Instead of dumping it I thought, wow might taste good. And boy did it ever!! I used 1 small scoop of the ice cream and 1/2 cup of the chocolate milk. Not only did it taste great but it only had 120 calories, 13g or protein, low in sugar and fat. I figure if I need a protein boost I can also add some tasteless protein powder to it. Not only was my sweet tooth satisfied but I discovered something I can enjoy during the summer without all the guilt Susan LAP RNY 11/24/04 374/313/190

OMG that sounds so good I wanna go get the ingredients right now LOL I've got another idea , what if you added like a teaspoon of decaf instant coffee? Then it would kinda be like a mint mocha frap-coolata thingy (especially if you added an ice cube or 2 and blended it ). I might be way off here ( I don't know a whole lot about the post op diet yet I am still no where near that in my research) but boy it sure sounds good to me !!! Kathy
