Exercise question
I had my surgery in June and for my January resolution I join the gym. I lost 95 lbs with little exercise. I decided that I wanted to lose my last 50 as soon as possible. I go the gym 6 days a week for an hour. I do cardio for an hour. I use air weights 3 times a week. Here is my problem. My stomach and sides are hurting and burning. Is this normal. I never had a pain with the surgery. Am I using new muscles from the operation? Is this normal? Did anyone else have a problem. I hate exercise but I go every day. Thanks everyone. Kathy

If you're just starting your program just do 3 days a week for a while until your body gets used to it. Then increase your activity. That will help you recover and you it will not be as painful. Also, try to determine if it is pain or soreness. Soreness you can work through but pain is a different story. If you are in pain, check with your doctor.
