Hello.. New to the Site.. SAying Hello!!

Hello everyone I am new to the site as of last night, and thought I would come to introduce myself here as well...My name is Thabatha.. and I will be having my Lap Band surgery Mon. 1/17/2005. I am going through waves of different emotions.Yet, at the same time am looking forward to it. Its tough knowing that you're going to be undergoing surgery, yet not really knowing what to expect after all is said and done I have browsed this site many times as a source of additional research and information and am happy with the support everyone gives to each other. Hi. good luck on your surg. i'm sure you'll do fine. my surg was 12/6/04 and i had open gastric bypass. i was fine and still am (Amen). and you're right, this is a very helpful and friendly site. take care and God Bless sue

Welcome! I will say a pray all goeswell my surgery is 2/1 i am on a rollar coaster right nowshould I ??? should I not???? Lord i know it will be worth it! love joyce

Hi Congrts and best of luck with your surgery!!! I am a little over 6 weeks post-op and feeling great. It was the best thig I ever did for myself and would do it gain in a heartbeat . It is so normal to be nervous . I was a complete wreck a week before my surgery. I prayed alot and that helped me get through it. See you on the losing side!! Susan 374/326/190
