Internal Hernia or Adhesions after surgery

Has anyone here dealt with the above after surgery? I may have one or the other, but I have to has a scope done and a CT scan. All I know is that occassionally I get horrible gas build up in my stomach/ouch area and can not release it and it is so painful. I get bloated up and am miserable sometimes all day long. Anyone have anything like this after they had surgery and if so, were you told it was an internal hernia or adhesion and did you have to have surgery to correct it? I am 14 months out, my surgery was 10/8/03 and went from 277 to 140, I am 5'9 and feel great - except the occassionaly bloating and gassy feeling, that makes me want to throw myself off a cliff, lol.
