Finally told my boss about surgery

Well I finally got up enough courage to tell my boss about my surgery. I figured with the possibility of having surgery in 11/22 (depending on my appeal) I should make him aware that I may be out for a while..lol. I gave alot of thought if I should tell him what kind of surgery I was having and I decided to be honest about it and I just blurted it out. To my suprise he was very understanding and supportive. I also told some of my coworkers and everyone is being so great about it. It just goes to show how we get ourselves worked up in our heads and it turns out ok in the end. Ever since I told him he has been doing all of this research on it and really pulling for me. Now I just continue to pray and await an answer on my appeal. I really hope HR comes through for me.
