Insurance approved

Hi everyone: I am so excited!!! I just got the call that my insurance Horizon BC/BS approved my surgery which is scheduled for Tuesday Nov 2, 2004. Like all of you I have struggled with the weight all of my adult life and I am sooooo Happy that the fight will be over and the battle won! I am having Lap RNY with Dr. Bertha. I am anxious to have it over with and on the recovery side. I have everything ready at work so I can be out for a couple of weeks. Thanks to everyone here that has posted messages. They are an encouragement to the likes of me! I have my protein drinks and vitamins ready to go!!! Wishing you all wonderful success in your journey! Robin

Hi Robin! Congratulations! I'm so happy for you! I have Horizon BC/BS as my secondary insurance and they approved me within two days. I also just received approval from my primary, which is Aetna. Now I'm just waiting for my surgery date! ~Christine
