Revision of Oct 19th

Hi my name is Vicky and I am having a revision on Oct 19th.I was just looking for a little support from others.

I looked at your profile and saw that your surgeon is in Philly. I suspect you may have had the same problem I had of trying to get a doctor in NJ to do the revision. I need a revision because I have a gastro-gastric fistula between the old stomach and the new one( the old stomach poked through the new, transsected RNY pouch). The dictionary says a fistula is like a tube between to adjacent empty organs. My brother, a scientist, said it's a hole. Either way I need corrective surgery and no doctor in NJ would do it ( either because I wasn't their patient or because they don't take my insurance). I hope to see Dr. Raper at U of Penn in Nov for a consultation. I wish you well with your surgery and your recovery.
