Now that my weight loss has slowed down these days, I finally bought some keto sticks. How are these used? I tested low, only "trace", and after I did the test I realized I don't know where I should be. What is a good result? I know they measure ketones and what thats all abt, but how should the test come out for optimal results? Thanks, JG

You will only be in Ketosis if you are not eating carbs.....some people want to be there, others feel it doesn't matter. There is a lot of info on ketosis on the web and the library of this site....only you can decide if this is what you want

Saw my surgeon for 1 yr followup, and he said that he does not advocate ketosticks. Just exercise, 3 meals daily, and no snacking will get me there and keep it off. He says I will still lose weight over the months as long as I control my portions and calories even if carbs increase, although protein must forever be emphasized. So now I will stay the course and go for those last 20 lbs . JG 284/165/145?
