Need help finding a bariatric Dr.

can anyone recommend a Surgeon who takes Oxford HMO Classic Liberty plan one of my friends wants to have the surgery however my surgeon is not in her plan. she lives in Passaic county close to Bergen. Any help would be apprciated. Thank you. Patti

Hi Patti, I have Oxford Liberty and my surgeon accepts that as in network. His name is Dr. Feteiha and he is in Elizabeth, in Union County and he was an excellent surgeon - I would recommend him to anyone!! My surgery was covered 100% - the only expense I had was the initial administrative fee of $250.00. I went to one of his seminars in the beginning of December 2003, had my first appt. with him in January and on March 15th had the lap rny surgery! Not a very long wait at all compared to alot of other surgeons from what I have read on the message boards here. Please feel free to email me if you have any other questions.
