Need Help with NJ Family Care Insurance!!!

Hi, I was wondering if any other people had the lap band surgery done with NJ FAMily care insurance and what steps I need to take to get approved!! My HMO is Amerigroup and they are a real pain!! Any input would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks Kim

hi, i have amerigroup also. i got denied at first but was approved 4 days after i was denied. i appealled right away. you have to be persistent with them. my mother in law made A LOT of calls to them in my behalf. keep on them. what surgeon do you go to?
