Leaning toward Lap-Band - Any comments

Hi - I finally decided to have WLS and am leaning towards the Lap-Band becasue the other types scare me ... anyone have any comments ?? Anyone know of a good surgeon in South Jersey or Philly ... I like the comments about Dr Kirkland and Dr Bellin... anyone care to comment?

my mother in law had a lap band done on the 11th. she is down 19 pounds already. she was driving the next day and is getting around very well. i wanted the lap band but my doc said it wasn't right for me with how much weight i have to lose. i am "patiently" waiting for my new surgery date...we where scheduled together but i had some paperwork problems to work out. good luck to you!
