hiatal hernia and gastric sleeve

looking for a dr. in nj/ny/pa/ct that might repair my hiatal hernia while doing a gastric sleeve so taht at least some of my expenses will be covered by insurance...my insurance covers NO Bariatric whatsoever....anyone have any experience with this?

I had a hiatal hernia and umbilical hernia repair at the same time as my RNY at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

and how did the insurance work with this?  did it cover some of the cost?  the issue with me is i don't have any bariatric coverage...and was hoping to get some of the hospital, surgical costs covered as the procedures have overlapping items.

Yes they were both mostly covered, but you always have some out of pocket expenses.  So they weren't 100% covered.

mine would cover for the hh but not the gastric which is why i'm looking to see if it's possible to have it done my way and who would do it in nj?
