Hi all...I am almost 7 weeks out from my revision to RNY surgery and the last 2 nights my legs just won't quit!!! As soon as I lay down to go to sleep they are twitching, spasming and just moving non stop.....it's so frustrating and it's keeping me up until 3am!!! I'm up all hours of the night walking around like a zoombie!!!!

Any suggestions would be sooo appreciated!!!!

I'm not saying this is the case with you, but restless legs are a common symptom of anemia. Your ferritin doesn't have to be "tanked" to experience this, either.  I'm not sure which ones, but some meds can also cause this, so check the side effects of any meds you may be taking.

 Hi Kimmi,

PLEASE check with your doctor.  I have heard it could be a vitamin deficiency or not enough calcium or dehydration, but PLEASE call today and ask your doctor.

GOOD LUCK and keep us posted with your progress!

I would agree that this is probably vitamin-related. Its either too little or too much of something. I know that cramping of the legs is often a sign of low potassium; I don't know if that could also produce this type of symptom.

Good luck, hon!
