Hi Everyone,
I have just discovered this site and there seems to be lots of helpful and supportive people out there.  I am lucky enough to have a great support group: my partner had the bypass 3 years ago and my mom had the sleeve done last year.  After today I will start my 2 days of clear liquid diet!  I cant believe that my date is already here!  Any last minute suggestions for what to take to the hospital, hints for clear liquid diet, pureed diet, etc?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Wish me luck!
Thanks!

Stacy,

My first advice RELAX. I know, better said than done. Know there will be ups and downs during this journey, but the ups will outweigh the downs. Also remember, we’ll always be here for you if you need us.

As for what to take to the hospital, one thing highly recommend by many is Chapstick. You favor pillow, maybe a fan, etc. Think of it as a hotel stay, but with terrible room service ;D

ADVICE WARNING: TALK TO THE DOCTOR/NUTRITIONISTS BEFORE INCREASING /CHANGE YOUR INTAKE

Here are some PROGRESSION SUGGESTIONS.

Only your Doctor knows your condition, and make sure you talk to them before making any changes to your diet
