I finally got my insurance approval.  I am so excited but also afraid about post op.  I am more afraid of the "after" surgery that I am going in to it.  What should I expect? I would love to hear about everyones post op from RNY.  Will I really be able to go back to work after 2 to 3 weeks??  The being home bound for me is going to be a challenge.  I hate, HATE, staying in the house and feeling stranded and trapped.  Help!!!!!!!

I had RNY and was back at work in 2 weeks.  I only work part time but the hardest part about going back to work for me was figuring out how to get all my fluid and protein in at work and getting use to taking it all with me.  I had my surgery on a Weds, was home by noon on Friday and took my last pain pill on Sunday.  I was back driving by Tuesday but didn't do anything other than take my kids to and from school for the 2 week recommended recovery period.
