New OH Leader

Hi Everyone:  I just finished all the training to become an OH support group leader and was looking to start a group.  I had Lap Band surgery in October 2008 and have been at goal since January 2010.  I was hoping to have a group either online or in person.  I leave in the Bergen/Passaic county area.  I was hoping to share my journey with others and have others share their journey with me. 

First, congratulations on completion of your training and your willingness to lead a support group.  I'm not very far from you, in Wayne. This is the very beginning of my journey .. RNY is scheduled for Monday, September 27th. I'd very much be interested if you manage to put together a local group.

I would also love to be a part of the group.  I am in Bergen county.  I had lapband on August 11 of this year, and I am thrilled with my progress so far.  Keep me posted!

I had lapband 3 year ago and still need support. Been looking for something in bergen or hudson county. I would love getting to with your group. I also had the same surgeon as you.
