I would suggest going onto his OH profile, look at the REVIEW tab and contact some former patients

Tom, thank you! That was extremely helpful! I appreciate the support as  well. I don't actually get to meet Dr. Wasser until he begins Fri hours in Oct (my day off), but I have appts scheduled for the 24th for pre-op tests. I am excited to get moving!

HI,
I had Dr. Wasser and he was really great! Did a wonderful job. I had no problems. Tina in his office is great! He was very informative and really did a great job explaining everything that I asked about. He is super nice and can be very funny. My only thing I have learned is if you have questions write them down and tell him point blank "I got questions". He is so busy that his visits can be very quick, and if you dont think to ask questions you'll leave and go "damn I wanted to know about this etc." So I've made it a point to stop him and say I have questions and he will do an immediate switch of pace and sit down and listen to everything you have to say and answer each thing with great detail.
I was supposed to get the band and at the last minute started to change my mind about which surgery I should do and what I was scared about and he made sure I had all the info to make a decision that would be best for me. And in Pre-Op when I was crying beause I was scared he made me feel okay. Assured me I would be fine and I was.
He also has support meeting each month that he actually participates in, another chance to ask him questions etc.. I haven't been to as many as I'd like or should, but its over an hour away from where I live so its hard sometimes, But he was great and I can't thank him enough for doing for me exactly what I wanted.... I wanted the "old" me back and here I am feeling better then ever, close to what I used to weight in my yonger days, I no longer ache in my joints and I am walking/running again, and I feel alive. My eating hasn't really been a problem, I am learning as I go and he is very good about letting you know that there is no one person "specific" rules, each one of us is different and we'll figure it out as we go what works for each of us. He is not one of those "Dont ever eat this, dont ever eat that, etc. etc." He guides you and is on top of anything that you might think is abnormal etc. He really follows through with his after care.
Hope this helps.  Feel free to contact me when ever.
Wendy
