Hello Jersey Board:
I'm dropping in to announce that I have joined The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team InTraining. They provide the coaching and support to get me prepared for a long distance race, and in return I will be raising money to help combat blood cancers.
I'll be running a half marathon in Disney come January. In my signature are links to my OH blog and my fundraising page.
Doing something like this never would have crossed my mind 140 lbs ago. I am so excited to be taking on this challenge, and I hope it will serve as a tiny bit of inspiration for those of you who are new to the journey.
As I mention on my TNT homepage, if your life has been touched by blood cancer in any way, please send me your name or the name of the person who was struck by illness, and I will add it to my list of honorees.
