July Support Meetings by Date

Hi everyone...  

Some people asked for an update of dates for July as reminders of whats going on in Central NJ (they like the format of actual dates versus 1st Wednesday, 3rd Thursday, etc).

These are the meetings I usually attend, so PLEASE copy/paste the whole schedule with your own meetings added so we can have a complete listing...that would be great!  Also, if you email me the details of your meeting dates, I'll be sure to include them in future postings!

As always, be sure to contact the host to ensure the meeting is still being held...I cannot be responsible for last-minute changes/cancellations of meetings.

Hi! I am the coordinator for the center in Plainfield.  What information can I supply?

 Location, time, how often it meets, who to contact, stuff like that!

Location is the Bariatric Center on the campus of Mulhenberg Hospital in Plainfield. We meet the third Thursday of every month at 5:30pm.  Contact number is 908 226-4200.  Ask for Pat.

Here is the info on the Bariatric Center, they meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month but it's best to call there since there is no on staff surgeon now and Pat, the surgical coordinator is running the meetings with a nutritionist and counselor.

As for the Nutrition Support, here is the info on that:

I just wanted to remind you I will be at Whole Foods in Union tomorrow evening from 7-8. We will sit in the eating area.
I will have some sort of "lesson" or topic as usual but also want time to talk about food! Tomorrow may be on "fat burning" & a bit more about stress because I see that topic a lot!
I'll also talk about my fave WF products of the week, recipes, etc. $10 per evening -- please tell friends!
These summer nutrition evenings are 7/15, 7/22, 7/29, 8/12 & 8/26

Please do not forget the First Saturday Support Group of Union County. We meet the first Saturday of each month at the RWJ Fitness/Wellness Center, 2120 Lamberts Mill Rd., Scotch Plains from 10:30 - Noon. Next meeting is August 7. For September only, we will meet on the second Saturday due to the Labor Day holiday. Email: firstsaturdaysupport@gmail to be placed on the distribution list to get updates and meeting info.
