I have been using the CPAP machine since 2006 with excellent results, but lately, I feel like I can't
take so much pressure. I really don't know what is the pressure in my machine. It says manu then
numbers came out like 2001-4000 ft, then there is the ramping that goes from 5 to 20 min.
Can someone explain to me all this?

Thanks, Chabela

I used a CPAP machine for 5 years prior to having my RNY and loosing my weight.  I know that my Sleep Doc would give me a script for what pressure settings that I needed and then I would take the machine to the Bach's Drug store and medical supplies.  they would set the machine for me.  I do know that when I would travel to a higher elevation I would have to take it to them to RESET it for that elevation.  So I would check with your doctor,

Good Luck,
