gym in hamilton?
I haven't heard of a session just for bariatric patients, but RWJ gym in hamilton (Sloane Rd, near the AMC theater) is a gym with a rehab center, so the trainers are skilled with clients of all types - from hardbodies to, ehm, softbodies. If you are injured, older, fat, post-surgery, or are just looking to increase fitness, they have a wide variety of trainers with expertise in these areas. It's a great place, though a little more expensive, with a large workout area, lots of equipment, classes (both educational and exercise), pools, and more. My bariatric surgeon is one of the doctors on the board.
I managed to lose 70 pounds there before my surgery.

RWJ is terrific - I've been going for about a year now. I had hired a service to do personal training which was horrendous immediately following surgery. There are classes (I've never heard of any that are bariatric-only) including several each day in the pool which is a lifesaver for me.
I had no official co-morbidities (I just weighed 300 pounds) when I had my surgery, but I have a chronic problem with a bone spur in my ankle and the aqua aerobics have allowed me to exercise without the pain I was experiencing with non-water-based exercise. Yes, it's better now, but I still get pain if I walk too much, and I try to avoid ibuprofen which was the only thing that relieved the pain pre-surgery.
I love the exercise pool!

So far, so good.
