Anyone experience vertigo?
I am approaching my 3rd month post op, and since New Year's Day I have had horrible vertigo. Not just lightheadness but "stop the world I want to get off" spinning. I went to my Primary Care dr and there is nothing wrong with my ear in a viral sense. I couldn't get an appt till 1/21 for the ENT specialist. I don['t get called back from Dr Garrison when I call the office for another issue so I haven't called him yet. Just curious if this may be WLS related. I take all my vitamins and drink fluids. It has slowed my exercise program down to the point of non existance. Any thoughts fellow RNY buddies?
Silly question - are you drinking all the liquids you're suppose to? Not getting in enough non-carbonated caffeine free liquids can make you light headed.
Good Luck on your Journey !!

When was the last time you had your blood work checked? Vertigo can be caused from low iron levels, which in turn cause your hemogloban to drop. I know when I was anemic my hemogloban was 6.5 (11 is the low end of normal) and I was dizzy very often.
Dizziness could be caused from dehydration as well. How is your fluid intake?
