North Jersey?

Anyone in North Jersey have a support group or meet-ups.  I occasionally look in on this board, but it seems all the get togethers are too far away on a weeknight at a time I cannot get to.  Would love to have some buddies in my area.  (I am in Jersey City ).

I'm in Bayonne and I also Have been looking for something around JC or Bayonne. I have been going down to New Brunswick and Woodbridge. I'm looking for something closer. Maybe we can start our own group.

 

 

I attend the support group at Hackensack University Medical Center.  It meets the 1st Thursday of each month from 6:30-8:00 PM.

Happy to hear from someone close by-Bayonne is not too far at all.  Maybe we can figure out our own thing!!!
I had my surgery at the Hackensack Medical Center.  Don't know why I have never been to one of their meetings.

I had my surgery also at Hackensack. I also go to the same doctor office as you. I have Dr Triveti. Since we live so close maybe we can get together so evening or weekend.

Evening.... Just for your Info... the Program For Life does have a Support Group at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck on the fourth Thursday of the Month.  We just had one last Thursday Jan. 28th.  It is for both Bypass and Band and runs from 6p - 7p.  Next meeting is on Feb.  25th at 6pm.  Also, Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeons (Dr. Abkin, Dr. Bertha & Dr. Iannace) also hold support group meetings in their office on the 4th Wednesday of the month.
