Horrible day, trying to think things through rationally...really long post

Everyone here knows I am very bias when it comes to Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeons, so please take what I say with a grain of salt.

While I don't have an answer to your exact issue, the “office staff" complaint seems to be because they have hired some new folks. I think these folks are still trying to get a handle on things. Again, it's not an excuse, but an EXPLANATION !!

A.L.S. DO CARE ABOUT EACH AND EVERY PATIENT

I know the folks at ALS do read these boards. So maybe someone will reply.

Good Luck on your Journey !!

Tom

No offense taken and I appreciate you sharing your feelings on the practice.  I'm glad for you that your experience has not been as disappointing as mine. Insofar as the change in staff, certainly I have noticed it as well.  I think Nino is probably one of the original "last men standing" there.  (Love him to pieces..) but I cannot excuse the fact that no one has returned my calls.  It was the "office staff" that told me to put my issue in writing and submit it.  I did just that.  Where's my response?  Is my doctor even aware of what's going on?  Its almost as if they're trying to avoid the situation.  I'm looking for a happy medium and a quick resolution to a problem that as every day passes I find less fault in.  (The mysteriously disappearing referral that was not discovered until almost four years later.)

I just want to resume good care with Dr. B and hopefully reach my long awaited goal this year.  I plan to have that happen one way or the other.

Insofar as them reading the boards, I question whether that's true, as they have led me to believe from all of my unreturned calls and unacceptable long hold times that they're extremely busy.  Where would they find the time?  But truthfully, I hope they DO read it.  Maybe then I'll get a response or at least someone caring enough to look further into this situation.

Evening Solo_Dancer,

I work in the office part time and want to assure you that we are aware of your post.  Nino has forwarded the information on your behalf to the management.

As you stated it is a busy office, but the doctor's are very interested in each and every patient that they treat.  The business office is closed for the weekend but  rest assured you will be contacted during regular business hours to assist you.

Evening Solo_Dancer,

Glad we were able to get this straightened out for you and you were able to check with your new insurance to make sure you are clear to have Band Adjustments through them.  I will be calling them this week to verify your benefits and then will call you once I get their info.

Just wanted to let you know that in the future if you do have any questions or concerns quickest way to have to answered would be to send them on our Office website.

www.njbariatricsurgeons.com

If you had posted on there Nino and I would have got a message sent directly to our phone stating there's be a new post or message on our site.  At which time we check it out and pass it along to the appropriate person on staff.

I'll be talking to you in a few days!  Enjoy your week,

Pat
