Feeling a bit stressed

Hi everyone,

I am feeling pretty stressed this week.  I go for my final weigh in tomorrow and then we go for the insurance approval.  I have Aetna.  My surgery date is 3 weeks from Wed and i am stressed that the insurance company is going to mess me up.

How long did it take for approval from your insurance companies?

I have Aetna and I was approved within 10 days.  If you fulfilled all their pre-op requirements and your surgeon's office has a good insurance team you should not have a problem.

You'll be ok you've done everything there is needed to do ..It can bother you a little but don't allow it to stress you..It's not as hardas you think people get approved everyday for surgery...

I will feel so much better when everythign is all set.  I just about have everything done that I need for surgery.  I got lots of broth, punch and powder shakes etc....

I really thought this month would go very slow waiting for Sept 2nd, but amazingly it has been flying.

Just keep one of the seats warm on the losers bench for me.

I am very fortunate that  my surgeries were approved quickly (like within 24 - 48 hours).  

I have NJ BCBS.

Hang in there and you will have a spot on the bench waiting for you!!
