First Fill
From what I hear no fills are being done at the Surgical Center yet. There was a problem with the construction (you know how those things go).
And Kimi - no need to fear. The 24 inch needle (which is 3 inches wide) doesn't hurt after the first 30 minutes. And it's wild to see the blood that gushes when they stick you - WOW !! It's like hitting a oil well in Texas. And you quickly get used to the smell too. ..
Well off to kick some more kittens, and tell kids the truth about Santa !!

I spoke to Doctor Abkin yesterday and they are hoping (hoping) to have the "Fill" center open by the end of August. Let's keep our fingers crossed !!

the best information i can give u is that when u start getting fills u really have to pay attention to what u r eating things that are easy to digest. if it cant go down it is going to come up. eat slowly and know when to stop. i had my band done in may of 'o8 and couldn't be happier remember it is still only a tool to help u the weight doesnt fly off . i excersize every day and go to weigh****chers weekly. i didn't tell them about the band. i lost 92 lbs in over a year and it something i stay very intuned with. the drs dont want u losing more than 2lbs a week. good luck to u . i hope we can talk soon
