Hi.  I had my surgery in April but I only got around to joining OH today.  I'm doing very, very well.  I do have a question though.  What do you do about your clothing?  I give away my clothing on www.freecycle.org but very few people are giving away plus size clothing.  Especially for someone who work on an office.  Any advise?

I've had great luck posting on here, under VERY obvious titles like  I NEED SIZE 20 CLOTHES...  or    SIZE 16's free clothes.....    I've brought bags of sizes to OH meet and greets, and handed them over to folks on their way down.     Last summer, I went to Alaska, and I posted on here because NONE of my winter clothes were wearable....they were all too BIG, so I asked, and got jackets, pants, shirts, sweaters, etc....   I couldn't have found them anywhere in a store off season!    I usually ask people to pick them up where I work, since I'm there all day....   and I've driven to people's houses to get their clothes....   Post what you're looking for, on here and on your surgery type board.....you should do OK.   The clothing exchange board doesn't seem to get a lot of stuff posted.    Good Luck!  Mary C

HI

As one of the people that got some of Mary's Alaska clothes to use on my trip to Alaska last year - I agree with her......  Post a notice with what size clothing you need.

People on the board are very generous and willing to share.  It's kind of paying back the kindness others showed you on your "way down" to be able to help the next group of "losers".

Post away.... I bet you will find something!
