Hi all...I have a ???

Hi everyone...

Just have a quick question...I had RNY om May7th..does anyone know when the staples in your stomach really heal?  I am taking care of my sick father right now in my home and in the middle of the night he had a fall, I picked him up and now I am having discomfort in my stomach area.  Not sharp pains or anything I was just wondering if I possibly did something inside to my "new pouch"???  I hope not!!!    Any advice will be greatly appreciated!!!

Call your doctor's office - I don't think anyone here can help you!

Please call your doctor's office.  Better safe than sorry.  Chances are that the staples/internal stoma*****isions are healed, but...  You can have permanent (if not fatal) problems if in fact you have torn a staple line.  CALL NOW!!!!!
