Hello... I'm new to OH
Hello Everyone,
I'm brand spanking new to everything. I'm still learning about Lap Band surgery.
My primary doctor has alrady given me clearence and now I need to start jumping over all the hurdles.
I'm in the middle of choosing a doctor at the moment. My profiles shows a doctor because she was my first choice and still is, but the insurance part got complicated.... she isn't covered by it.
Tomorrow I meet with another doctor who is... I'm hoping I like him so that I can get this ball rolling.

Welcome !! Good luck on your Journey. There will be lots of ups and downs, but it all works out.
The one thing I strongly recommend is .. RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH. That's concerning Doctors, Procedures, Medical stuff, etc.
I am no expert, but know I am here if needed !!

Hi! I am also new to OH! I am meeting with my surgeon next tuesday. I also know Dr. Vaimakis and think she is great. The surgeon I ended up chosing for my surgery is Dr. Trivedi. He is in Paramus if you live anywhere near there. He has a great pre-op and post-op program. I would consider seeing him if you live in the area. Although he is out of hackesack and not englewood/holy name. I dont know how set you are on a hospital. Good luck with your journey.
