Anyone Have an Idea of Charges for Tummy Tuck

I am researching costs for a tummy tuck in NJ. I have been hearing prices of $5-$10k...I have a consultation with Dr. Capella coming up and I was told to get some prices before I go. Anyone have any idea? Of course, this will be self pay....and if you had lipo, was there an extra charge for that??? Also, did this include hospital fees? Does insurance cover the hospital portion? Anyone with info, please pass it along. Also taking recommendations for surgeons.

I can't answer the question, but the St Clare's Support group which is the 4th Wednesday of the month in Dover is suppose to be hearing from a plastic surgeon at this month's meeting.  If you can make it up there, it might be worth the trip to hear what they have to say.  The meeting is at 6:30pm and will be combined RNY & Lapband since there is a speaker.

Thanks for that info. I'll pass it along to some others to see if they may be interested. Do you know which PS will be there? How far is Dover from Westfield? I work till 4 so it may not pay to go home and drive up to Dover. I think the date is June 24, correct?

Yes June 24th is correct.

I looked at general directions from Westfield to Dover and it shows about a 50 minute drive (without traffic ofcourse)  

I don't have any specifics on who will be speaking but if I hear anything I will forward it.

Check out the post from Tom today.  The St Clare's group speaker has cancelled.  Just wanted you to know.  We would always be happy to see you but wanted you to know the speaker won't be there that I hoped would help you with your questions.
