Hi All..

Hi All,

My name is Danielle and I am new to this group!  I live in Toms River, NJ and am looking forward to all the great advice!!  I am 3 weeks post op...I had Gastric Bypass on May 7th..  I have lost 33 pounds to date..but I have been at a standstill for about a week now!!  I am sure it is common for that to happen, I just kinda thought it would happen a little further down the road,  I am following directions and doing what I am supposed to be doing, its has been a little discouraging seeing the same number on the scale for 6 days!!!  Has this happened to anyone else??

from what I have read, yes...I cant really help cuz I am having surgery on June 15th...It would be nice to cheer eachother on though! Kepp us posted as to how you are doing!

Welcome Danielle - I think the stall is pretty normal - it has happened to me

Hi Danielle

Yes, stalls happen.  Just keep track of your protein - it is soooooo key and follow your doc's orders and the stall will break.

Hey Danielle - me too!  I had surgery on April 6th and noticed that when I don't do enough protien, I don't lose as fast.

Hi Danielle.  Stalls happen on and off all the time.  It's frustrating but hang in there, you'll start losing again soon.
