Any NJ OH members on Facebook?

Hi

Just wondering if any NJ OH members are on FB? I joined recently and found its great for networking as well as keeping in touch. Thought it may be nice to k.i.t. with some NJ OH members this way.

I created the following Facebook group:   NJ RNY/Banders Group

So everyone can join, I made the group "secret":
           

The group will not appear in search results or in the profiles of its members. Membership is by invitation only, and only members can see the group information and content.

Since it will not be a public group, anyone wishing to join can send me an email address so I can invite you until I figure out how else I can add people ;-)

Once we get it going, we can use it to track our local events!  Yeah!

Also.....  I could use a couple of volunteers to be officers so I am not the only one that can do inviting of new members or updating the "official stuff".

I like the idea of the group being secret.  I use FB to communicate with a lot of my clients who don't know I've had WLS and I certainly don't want them to know.

I didn't know whether it could be private and I thought less people would know what RNY/Banders meant than WLS and I quite honestly forgot about you DSers.  I will see what I can do about changing it!!!

I've been on FB for years, but since I've only told a few people about my surgery, I wouldn't feel comfortable joining a weightloss group yet.
