Dr. Mike is AWESOME!!!!!

Hi All....

Well I went to my Psych Eval with Dr. Mike Sakowitz on Thursday night.  Let me just tell you it was an awesome experience!!!! I would HIGHLY recommend using Dr. Mike for your psych doctor. Tom and I walked in and were quickly greeted by Dr. Mike, asking if we wanted water or anything. His office was very warm and comfortable. He took the time to speak with me on all accounts of WLS and asked if I had any questions, he was very easy to speak with. My appt lasted about an hour and the time flew by. I felt as tho I was sitting in a living room talking with an old friend.

If anyone needs to still do their psych eval, I would HIGHLY  recommend Dr. Mike!!!!

Since Kim mentioned my name, thought I’d put my 2 ¢ in ..

Doctor Sakowitz is top notch. He definitely makes you feel very comfortable, and goes over ALL the expectations concerning weight loss surgery. He listens why you want to do this procedure. He explains what one can expect, both physically and mentally. I have been to a few WLS psychiatrists and psychologists, and Doctor Sakowitz is by far the best. I would say he’s worth the extra “trip", and if your insurance doesn’t cover his expense, he is worth his fee (which is extremely reasonable).

If anyone asks for a good Weight Loss Psychologists, Dr. Sakowitz will definitely be in the first name out of my mouth.
