What am I doing wrong??
Hey, Shannon, we had our surgeries on the same day, and like you, I had a huge drop and now nothing. I don't know about you, but I haven't had a fill yet, so I'm trying not to get discouraged. I can't wait to get to mushy foods, though! My appetite is in full swing and these liquids and soups just aren't doing it for me anymore. Hang in there!
Honestly my surgeon told me he didn't expect me to loose weight the first 6 weeks because I haven't had a fill. I have lost 28 lbs. though. Im eating 1000 to 1100 good calories. I also exercise 5 x's a week. I'm sure I'll stall soon but right now I'm enjoying the ride. I'm sure your stall will pass.

Three weeks is where most folks generally hit the first stall. It's like your body wakes up one day and says "OK...Seriously, WTF is going on here??!!" and starts clinging onto nutrients & fluids. Make sure you're getting in all your water and protein requirements every day. It will pick back up again, don't be so hard on yourself. You CAN do this, and it WILL happen. If I can do it, anyone can, believe me. Most of those of us who have struggled with weight loss all our lives doubt ourselves, it's our first natural reaction. The minute the scale stops going down, you start to blame yourself and think you're screwing up one more time. It's different this time, you have a miraculous new tool that will help you if you listen to it. Cut yourself some slack and follow your plan, you will succeed. Now step away from that scale! LOL HTH and welcome to the loser's bench!
