I'm now 5 days post op. I had RNY on Monday and it took me 3 hours to get to Overlook in that blizzard! I'm so glad it's over with. I'm doing ok. Just sore and lots of bloating and gas. I'm moving around as much as I can. It definitely helps.

Shannon,
So glad you made it on Monday.  I got my band on monday. I remember someone calling the nurses station and said they were from Toms River and could not get out of their driveway.
I feel the same way.  Very Sore and glad it over.
Best of luck.  Keep moving.  I found that the big poland springs water bottle with the blue flip lid keeps me from gulping the water and it has been a big help.

Hey, twin!  I had my surgery in the middle of that blizzard, too!  Just our luck, huh?  I had the Lap Band and the surgery was at Bayshore Community Hospital.  Here we are a week later, can you believe it?
