Pain in Groin Can't find help
Surely you must have an "out of network" benefit in your insurance. Some Doctors will take whatever the insurance company gives them for "out of network" and then they don't pass the rest onto the patient. NOT ALL DOCTORS do this - but it's best to call and ask about their "out of network" option.
