Hey gang, As you know, one of the most frequently asked questions is where to find a support group? I have been trying to go over past postings, to come up with a list of support groups and when they meet. With your help, we can post a listing of all support groups through out our fine state in one place, which may make it convenient for everyone. That’s why I need your help. Please look over this list, and see if anything needs to be corrected/updated. In addition, can you please tell me which support groups you know of, location, the day and/or time the classes are held, if they are open to “everyone" or to just patience’s of specific doctors, free or fee, County, contact information? FYI - Under Ocean County you have posted a meeting that is in Gloucester County...I go to the one at Kennedy Hospital in Camden county but found this interesting as I didn't know there was another one down this way.

Yes, in Ocean County, SOCH...Southern Ocean County Hospital has a support meeting this wed the 11th of February. They have a Bariatric Center now. I do not know all the dates but the phone number is 609-978-3202. I am due to have my surgery there on May 22nd.My surgeon is Dr. Jonathan Reich.There are two or three other surgeons also at the center. The hospital is located on RT.72 in Manahawkin New Jersey. I would call that number for further info. They are VERY nice and compassionate and they bend over backwards to help you, from the surgeon to the office staff, you will love them!!
