Hi, im new here, kind of

Hi all,

I have been on these boards for about 2 1/2 years.  I was always on the lapband board and did not realize this nj board was here.  It's so good to have so many local people to share idea's and support with.  I live about 5 minutes from the freehold mall and would love to join any groups that are local.  Im so glad to find this part of the boards.

Welcome to the New Jersey board......I was going to use Dr.Michael Jay Nusbaum for my lapband,but they do not take my insurance .I went to seminar and was very comfortable with him.

 Hey there, I also live 5 minutes from the Freehold Mall.  There is a casual get together at Woodbridge Wegmans on Sun. Feb. 8 at lunchtime.  We did this a few months ago and there were about 20 of us so please join us.  WELCOME

So we are neighbors.

I would love to attend one of these get togethers but Sunday the 8th does not work for me.  Do these get togethers happen often? 

I love Dr. Nusbaum, he has a very comforting way about him.

Do you ever go to the support mtg in lakewood at Kimball?

i live in the toms river area, so not too far from freehold

cant get around now cause i was in a big accident in december and im laid up for the next 6 weeks.

but nice to know we have another jersey person in the area.

i go to a support group in toms river which might be a bit far for you.  tcasola has posted a list of all the jersey groups he could fine, here on the board.  go back a few pages in the posts and im sure you can find it, cause someone asked about it recently and he reposted the list

Sorry to hear about your accident, im glad you are doing better.  I used to go to the kimball mtg right after my surgery and then stopped going after about 5 mtgs.  I am considering going back soon.
