any firefighter's here?

If your a FF I need your help!

I've been a FF for almost 5 years, and while it's nice to have a break for awhile I still have the itch. Of course I know that I will not be able to ride again for awhile...and I do not even feel like it right now.

How long did it take until you got to ride again...how was it when you went back?

I am still out on disabilty until 01, February.  I have read some who have gone back in a week and others about 4 weeks. depends on your doc. I am out for 6 weeksfor lap rny, if I had stayed with my first consult and lapband, he wanted me out 8 weeks.

I wish I could go back now but lifting stuff is for the birds right now.

yea I know what you mean, I'm 2 weeks out and I cant even bend down to pick anything up.
