Goal!!
Thanks Laura!! I do have a few tips.
-About 1 year prior to surgery, I started therapy. I think therapy helped me learn to cope with stress in other ways besides turning to food. I highly recommend it for everyone!!
-I continue to work with my nutrionist - even at almost 3 years out. I see her about every 4 months, and will continue to check in with her. I am a very picky eater, and I had very poor understanding of nutrion. She has helped introduce me to new foods, and basically helps me keep on track. I also track my food intake on Fitday.com, and I know that this is something I will always have to do.
-Exercise / fitness has become an important part of my life. I work out hard! After my surgery, I started out slow, then gradually increased my activities as the weight came off. I really believe that if I want to maintain this loss, I will need to work out hard for the rest of my life.
Good luck Laura!!
