Weight Gain
Hello Everyone, I need your help! It has been a long time since I posted a message on the site due to a misunderstanding that I had on my part with someone and I hurt their feelings. Things have not been going the right way for me from the very start of my journey to weight loss, I choose a wonderful doctor who moved to another hospital and was just too far for me to get to without imposing on someone. At this point I have now regained 73 of the 181lbs. that I lost, and I still haven’t found a support group near my home that I can attend. I have turned back to food for comfort and my stomach has started hurting all of the time again. I tried to reset my pouch but that failed do to a sinus infection and a bad cold because of the milk even more phlegm was created. I’ve always felt alone on my journey and I had no family support you just can’t do everything on your own all the time and this is one of those things. I need suggestions! Unfortunately when they took more than half of my stomach away they couldn’t take my desire for food away forever. I lost weight so quickly because everything was so nasty the smell the taste everything that I melted down 181 lbs in less than a year. But now what how can I stop this before I’m 386 lbs. again?
Thanks!
Hi
Are there any support groups close by? They don't have to be your doctor's - most welcome anyone.
Maybe getting to a support group will help. It's good to be around people that know what you are going through and I'm sure they will be happy to share ideas on how to get back & stay on track. I know that I have met some wonderful people and made new friends at the one I attend - that can be extremely helpful when you need some support.
If you don't find a support group, I hope you post questions and strike up some conversations on the board here - lots of people are supportive and might be able to offer suggestions.
Good Luck! Feel free to PM me if you have questions.
Vicki
