Dr Goyal in Union or Hoboken?

Since I already started my new search, Dr Goyal seems to take my HMO and he's with the NJ Bariatric Center. Does anyone have experience to share? I read his patient reviews and it seems pretty good.

Dr. Goyal is a great doctor, the staff is wonderful and the support system is unbelievable.
I did some research before I decided to go with Dr. Goyal and I'm glad that I'm a patient of his. You can go to my blog and read the surgeon update of my opinion of him.  The only complaint that I have is his scale, Gosh I hate that thing.....

 Sorry I haven't been here in a while, I too am a patient of Dr.Goyal's. I was banded in January. He's great and so is his staff, my best friend did gastric bypass with him as well. She feels the same way. Good luck, you will go through many changes as you get closer to your date. Just don't give up, I did and ended up 40 pounds heavier and going back any way, don't prolong the torture. Go through with whatever procedure you decide on.

I am a patient of Dr. G's and he is a wonderful physician and gifted surgeon.  His office staff is fantastic, they treat you like a member of the family while being respectful and polite. I used the Union office location as it is near my home.  I'm an RN and had worked at Overlook so my research into the surgery, Dr. G and the facility was extensive.  I know I made the right choice for me.

Thursday was my 6 month surgiversary!  I'm down 93 lbs.  Feel great, look fantastic.  I exercise 5 days/week for about 2 hours each day.  This has really help me to replace food as that was my comfort.  Cannot tell you I don't still have cravings but I'm NEVER hungry, freaky.

If I had this to do over again: #1 I would do it in a heartbeat and #2 Dr.G would be my choice.

I LOVE DR GOYAL!!! HE IS WONDERFUL!!! I had the Lapand in July - I am  down 45lbs !!!! He can only give us the tools  - we need to put them towork!!! he will tell you that too ! There us a new Dr at his office - VERY nice ! Only dealt with him once - but very nice and caring !!1
