Surgery on Monday (XP)

Hello everyone I dont post here very often, but I read the threads every single day.  I wanted to share with you all that my surgery is this coming Monday 10/20. I was approved today by BCBS of NJ.  I cant begin to explain how excited and at the same time nervous I am.  I trust in God that everyhting will be ok. 

I know from reading here of what I should be bringing with me to the hospital and what to have at home for when I came back home...but you know I had to ask......any last tips??? LOL

Congrats to you.  The mixed emotions must be tough.  I have  yet to have surgery, scheduled for November 25th.  I can't give you any tips but would sure appreciate tips from  you after your surgery.  I also have BCBS of NJ PPO, how long did it take from submitting paperwor****il approval?

my only tip is keep hydrated. sip sip sip water or clear protien liquids like isopure.
the vitamins we take can wreck havoc with your system if you don't drink enough fluids
and walk after surgery
that really helps the gas

Thank you for the good tips.  I ahve BCBS HMO and it took about a week(maybe less) for my doctor to receive approval.
