OT - Very Odd Request from those that go out dancing

hello one and all! I'm looking for a night club/lounge etc that is in North Jersey to have a party at. My son chose a nightclub/lounge theme for his bar mitzvah and instead of trying to create one out of a ballroom i'm looking for a dance club that i can rent in off hours.   Where do you go out dancing when and if you go out? It can be in a hotel (preferable) or a seperate place.....you know what, if you think it would be a cool place can you please tell me about it? Thank you in advance. ANDI

Contact the Diva Lounge in Montclair, NJ.  They are located on Bloomfield Ave.  I've been there for several events and I believe that it is the type of place you are looking for.

The diva looks perfect, but if that doesn't work, you can check a place called Confetti here in Randolph.

Hey Andi... you may try contacting the Sheraton International Crossroads in Mahwah (Rts 287/NY Thruway/Rt 17).  I believe they may have a club area that could acoomodate such a party.

They have awesome space that COULD technically work for us, the challenge is we went to a party there on Saturday and it sucked eggs, they just couldn't get their stuff together and move it forward, it really shouldn't have been that hard. Technically, it is a club but they never gave it a club vibe enough for it to work and the kids were bored silly! ANDI
