C.
I would recommend you get to the next nearest support group meeting and talk to lots of folks there. The OCWLS group meets in Toms River this Friday, 7pm. and there are usually many long term post ops there. They are a very helpful group.
Good Luck

CONGRATS ON YOUR AWESOME WEIGHT LOSS.
OOPS IM IN CAPS, SORRY, i would suggest that you find a support group in your area.
the fear of gaining weight is common among all of us.
the most important thing to remember is that you have made a lifelong commitment to good health by having your surgery.
however, in order to honor this pledge you have to take steps to find a daily eating program that gives you the nutrition you need and also the fluids and vitamins.
have you tried tracking on one of the online trackers, fitday.com, sparkpeople.com, or thedailyplate.com?
also, perhaps you need to speak with a nutritionist and work on a "diet" that meets the need of gastric bypass patients.
as you mention that you are a pre med student, this would be a good time for you to practice what one day you may preach to your future patients. having the surgery was your first step as you well know. using your tool, every day you must make good choices to maintain your weight loss.
good luck, jacki
