OH seminar
Post Date: 10/4/08 4:19 pm
Well I just walked in the door and I wanted to tell you all that if you ever have an opportunity to attend an OH conference - you must go. I had a wonderful day meeting so many of the people that I met on this site and it was an informative/fun day. The highlights of my day were meeting "Ramon" and "egg-face" and the presentation on dressing for our shrinking bodies. The plastic surgery seminar was a ton of info for the future..... We connected with each other at lunch and I made many new friends...~... It was a great day - check the site and see if there is someting coming up in your area. I feel totally motivated and inspired.......

I was trying to find you yesterday, but I didn't know your real name. I didn't like that we should have all put our OH names on our tag. I went up to one guy who I thought was you and asked him and guess what , It wasn't you. After that Iwasn't so brave to ask each guy there if it was you. Ha Ha
Glad you had a good day. I did too. being someone who did not have surgery yet, it was great to meeet a whole room full of people who had. Wow, what a wonderful group of people.
Hope to meet soon.

Hi Karen, it was good to meet you and talk in person, too. Just got back home myself, I took a "shopping detour" on the way home. Scroll down and read Nannette's post about OCWLS Support group -- it lists all the dates for the rest of this year. Hope to see you there!
Regards,
Michele
P.S.: there is also a support group that meets at Monmouth Medical center which you may like to try attending as well.
