I am 7 months out and I have been doing everything that I am supposed to be doing....getting at least 64ozs of water, 60-70 grams of protein daily, etc. and every day I just kind of have a mild stomache ALL DAY. This has been almost since day one after the surgery. It is not enough to keep me from living a normal life, but it is annoying. I would love to just wake up one day and feel great. Does anyone else experience this?( by the way, bathroom  habits are normal and regular so I am not too worried about a bigger problem).

I know the what you mean.  Although I don't have the same stomachache feeling all day.
Eating makes me feel blah.  I sometimes wake up and think oh cr@#$%. Now what am I going to eat.

HI glitzigirl,

I don't know if what your feeling am feeling, but since day one after the surgery, I have had a problem with my stomach too, no pain, just an unconfortable feeling, of a lot of air or gas that is just so annoying too.  I take prilosec otc, for acid reflux which i received as a side effect after the surgery, it does take away the heartburn, but I still have this annoying feeling too. I Can't explain it.  I sometimes chew tums one right after the other, it relieves the annoying feeling for a few minutes but then it comes back, and then it is even worse because the tums causes gas.  I would love to wake up one day and feel great too.  I watch what I eat and everything.  I don't know if this will ever get better, but If we are talking about the same feeling am with you girl!!!

Melissa, who was your surgeon?  (Just curious if we had the same one).  Thanks!

Go get checked out by a gastroenterologist! I just saw we have the same surgeon. PM me and I will tell you what I just found out. You may be on the verge of a stomach fisure. That's when the old stomach and new stomach join back together. Don't wait cause it will only make matters worse.
