I am so glad the surgery is over for you, that is truly the hardest part.. the pain meds in the hospital do a great job though!  KEEP walking, that is the best thing that you can do for yourself.. take the pain meds before the pain starts-so that you can walk, without ceasing, walk, walk, and walk some more.  Glad you are doing well!

Thank you everyone..........I didnt even go home on pain meds............I had surgery Thurs and was back in my office on Monday.........although I dont recommend for everyone I live right across the street......Fiance drove me and I work for a doctor so that being said I feel very good  no pain just sore and sick of this drain...lol...........That is the thing bothering me most...........................

I would definately check in with your doctor before attempting this but I felt pretty great so I came in and stayed about 5 hours each day.................I guess I didnt understand why people needed 8 weeks off but I am sure their cases are different than mine....................My worst problem has been reflux but other than that not too many complaints :)

Hey Amy I had surgery on Thursday and he is taking it out Friday but  I would rather be safe than sorry because as Dr Andrei told me before that alot of doctors now dont use drains and I think that is fooli****s just a nuisance to me
