We just changed insurance coverage and I am excited that I do not have to wait 6 months like Aetna but I called and have to find a Surgeon who will take Oxford Liberty plan.  Does anyone know of a doctor who accepts this plan?

Hi Skatie,

I would just call Oxford and they should give you a list of Surgeons that do Bariatric Surgery.  Then you can ask everyone if we heard of any of them.  When tehy give you the list you can narrow the list down to who is in your area, if that matters.  I wish you well on your search for a surgeon.

I called them and all they will give you is a list of general surgeons and then you have to call all of them to see if they do baratric surgery.  I f you find 20 and document that they do not perfom that type of surgery then you can suggest somone out of network.

Oxford is the BEST!  I had them when I got my surgery.  I used Dr. Bertha.
