Looking for Therapist experienced with WLS patients....

Hi all.  Anybody know a good therapist who is experienced with WLS patients in the Morris/Sussex/Passiac county area?

Also, for any of you who go to one...how often do you go?  and do you think it is truly helpful??

Any input would be appreciated.

Thank you so much for your help, unfortunately that is a little over 2 hours away from me.  It's crazy that I can't find someone up in this area with WLS experiencE!!!

Good luck with this. I have been thru Morris County and those who claim to have experience are not really very educated regarding your issues... they will all revert back to basic freudian thinking.. I went to the St Claire center in Dover and met with them awhile.. but again  They treated this as an eating disorder... and I never personally felt any better about anything with them... But I really do wish you success... It is a hard journey you have begun and alot of self discovery will be coming your way... if the psych helps... go for it...

Although I haven't used her myself (yet), someone else recommend Deborah Manley, LCSW to me.  She is at 520 Main Street in Toms River.  If you call her, let me know how you make out.
